Be It

When you are it,
you don’t have to announce it, proclaim it, or shout it.

You just have to be it.

We will see it and realize who you are.

When you are it

You live it, you do it,

You bees it.

Get it?

Don’t tell me you’re strong.

I will see your strength and know it.

Don’t tell me you’re kind.

Be kind, I’ll feel it.

You don’t have to wear a t-shirt to proclaim

I’m a man (or any other declaration).

Walk as a man, stand up as a man.

I’ll see it.

Stop talking about it.
Just do it.

People who really have it
Don’t have to say, I got it.

Be around them and you’ll notice it.

Only the wounded,

Only the doubtful,

Only the faithless,

Only the uncertain,

Only the diluted,

Only the polluted,

Only the pinched,

Only the limited,

Only the weak,

Only the pretenders,

Only the slackers,

Only the jivers,

Only the limited,

Only the lost,

Only the fakers,

Only the wasted, the dying, the lying, the cheating

Have to name it rather than live it, thus laying claim to it.

Get it?
