If not now, when? If not me, who?*
Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.**
So if you haven’t won “it” yet then you have to keep going until you do.
You also have to define success for yourself.
You have to notice the mini-wins along the way while continuing to pursue the elusive one.
This is message is for… well, if they read this blog as they say they do, they’ll know who I mean.
I understand your disappointment and frustration.
I don’t understand your anger and envy.
I don’t understand letting not getting that one “it” color everything with sorrow and anger.
- I don’t
What I’ve learned is that there is not “one it.”
There’s just the latest “it” in a series of “its” as you live your life, expand your goals, see new opportunities and follow myriad paths.
Baskets? Don’t put all your eggs in one.
When it’s your turn, it’s your turn. And when it’s not your turn, it’s not.
When the stars align they do.
Meanwhile, keep on keeping on. Keep doing your best and refining your work.
It ain’t over until the fat lady sings and I ain’t singing.
