Give the dog a bone; cut the dude some slack

Give the dog a bone*

Yield the right of way

Cut the dude some slack

Turn gently away (or toward)

donating-to-charity

Give crazy stuff a break

Speak up in support

Make the referral

Contribute:  your time, the funds

Say hello (whether or not they speak back)

Acknowledge the effortSay-Hello1

Pay a compliment

Say thanks

Notice what you take for granted

(that) each and every day

we depend on each other in thousands of ways – minute and huge

we do not exist alone

Love….be love

*The phrase “give the dog a bone” is from the old English children’s song, “This Old Man”. The  first verse of the version I learned as a child goes:

This old man, he played one,

He played knick-knack on my thumb;

With a knick-knack paddywhack,
Give the dog a bone,
This old man came rolling home.

And so on…
